BUDAPEST

WHICH NEIGHBORHOOD ARE YOU LIVING IN RIGHT NOW? AND HOW IS IT LOOKING LIKE?

I live in the XII. district of Budapest, called “Hegyvidék”, which means Highlands. I think it’s one of the most beautiful parts of Budapest, because it’s a green, hilly area of the city.

Buda and Pest were separate towns until the 19th century. The Danube River is between the two areas, and Buda is the calmer, greener part of Budapest. Meanwhile Pest is the part that never sleeps!
